Real Sociedad’s slump has eased and they will be hosting Atletico Madrid in the Copa Del Rey on the back of a three-game unbeaten run. Sociedad registered a first clean sheet in four matches in their last outing, beating Celta Vigo 1-0 for their second straight win, having beaten Leganes 3-2 earlier. Sociedad are seeking the second Copa Del Rey title in three years, having won the 2019/20 one in the final played last year in April. Going to this game they’ve scored in each of their last five matches but they have just two clean sheets in the five matches. Twice in the five matches, they’ve scored two or more goals and both teams have scored in three of their last five matches. Sociedad have four straight wins in Copa Del Rey matches and with three clean sheets therein.

Atletico Madrid are unbeaten in their last three matches, winning two of them. They are coming from a 2-2 draw with Villarreal, a game in which they took the lead, lost it and had to battle from 2-1 down. Going by their earlier form, they have been stable in the recent matches, and have scored in each of their last five matches. In the last three games they scored two or more goals and both teams have scored in three of their last five matches. Four of Atletico’s last five matches have produced over 2.5 goals and away from home, things haven’t been very rosy, the team has conceded twice in four of their last five away matches. In five away matches, they have just one clean sheet and that came from lower tier side, Rayo Majadahonda.
