Real Madrid need to win their last La Liga game to have any chance of winning the title. They are second and host Villarreal who are seventh in the table. Real can win the title if they get a win here and leaders Atletico fail to win away at Real Valladolid. They are ahead of Atletico on head-to-head results, so if they do finish level on points, the title is theirs. Real are unbeaten in their last 17 league matches but recent draws with Getafe, Real Betis and Sevilla have hindered their bid to topple Atletico. Their home form has seen them without a defeat in their last nine La Liga fixtures but two of the last three have been drawn.

Villarreal play their last game before the Europa League final. They are in the Europa Conference League position but have bigger fish to fry. They  could finish as high as fifth, that's currently occupied by Real Sociedad who are only a point ahead of them. Sixth gets you into the Europa League and Villarreal are behind Real Betis on head-to-head results. Of course, their dream at present is to win the Europa League and get into the Champions League. They have won their last two league matches and four of the last five on the road. This won't be easy for Real but surely Villarreal will have one eye on that final. Go for a home win here.
