PSG spent so much money during the summer, even Real Madrid looked on in awe. Their owners are desperate to win the Champions League but again their dreams are in danger of fading away in this last sixteen tie. Winning your group is supposed to get you an easier tie in the last sixteen but tell that to PSG who ended up with Real Madrid and then lost the first leg of the tie 3-1. That means they have to score at least twice to have any hope of making the last eight but they will have to do it without their prize possession Neymar, The Brazilian striker is out injured and that makes recovering the two-goal deficit even harder for the French champions, They have won all four of their games since that first leg defeat and scored 13 goals in the process. Not a bad strike rate but they managed 15 goals in their three home games in the group stages and that included a 3-1 win over Bayern Munich and of course last year, even without Neymar, they beat Barcelona 4-0 at home in the Champions League. PSG are on a run of  12 unbeaten home games in the Champions League and it's going to be vital for them to score the first goal in this game to put the pressure on their opponents. Real Madrid are bidding to win the Champions League for the third straight season and with a two-goal lead you'd normally be confident of them progressing. However, Real have shown great inconsistency this season and have already lost at Tottenham in this competition. Keeping away clean sheets isn't one of their specialities at present having conceded in their last five games and lost their last away game 1-0 at Espanyol. This is tough to predict but a bet on over 2.5 goals in the game looks a good one with PSG having to be in attacking mood as they try to claw those two goals back.
