PSG finished 16 points clear of the rest of the teams in Ligue 1 last season. That could have been a much wider margin though because they ended the season with 14 points from their last 10 games. The title had been won early so their level of performance dipped. PSG were unbeaten at home in Ligue 1 last season winning 17 out of 19 games. 63 home goals were scored last season and only two teams scored more than that in all of their league games. Just the ten home league goals conceded too so you can see what a tough task Nimes have here. PSG are unbeaten in their last 19 home league games with one loss in the last 61 league matches. There's still a question mark over whether Neymar will be staying with PSG but the French champions have made some major signings including Abdou Diallo, Idrissa Gueye and Pablo Sarabia. 

Nimes finished ninth in Ligue 1 last season. They were a long way from a top four finish but comfortably safe from relegation. They scored 57 goals in Ligue 1 last season but conceded 58 and only two teams let in more, both being relegated.  10 away league games were lost last season and only relegated Guingamp conceded more away goals than them. Four pre-season games have only produced one win and that was against Rodez who are in Ligue 2. Go for a home win in this game with PSG leading at both half and full time, something they achieved in 13 of their 17 home league wins last season.
