Paris Saint Germain had to go through a very controversial week in the Champions League and they will be happy to see it behind them. The focus is now on Ligue 1, with a home game against fellow title contenders Olympique Lyon. PSG head to this game top of the standings and with 28 points while Lyon have 26 points and are placed third. PSG have no loss in their last five matches, just a draw and four wins but they have no clean sheet in their last four matches while they have two or more in the last four games. Kylian Mbappe and Neymar have been key for the hosts, scoring a combined 10 goals in the last five matches. Mbappe leads the top scorers’ list with 10 league goals and has scored four times in the last five league matches. In their last five Ligue 1 matches, PSG have lost once and scored two or more goals in each of the five, which has greatly contributed to each of their last five league matches producing over 2.5 goals. They have particularly picked good form in their recent matches and head here with six wins in the last seven matches and having failed to score in just two of their 13 matches this season. In the last five matches Lyon have scored 10 goals and conceded three, and they head to this game unbeaten in five straight away matches. They have scored in each of the five away matches, with Toko Ekambi being central, with four goals in the last four away games. However, Lyon will need to check their disciplinary standards as they have had two players sent off in their last three away matches.
