The past six Champions Leagues have been won by teams from England and Spain. That won't be the case this season as Bayern Munich take on PSG for European football's top prize. Bayern were the last team from outside of England and Spain to win the cup. Bayern have been in dominant form for all of 2020, winning the Bundesliga at a canter and then putting on one great display after another in the Champions League. The German champions are unbeaten in their last 25 league and cup matches, since a loss to It's not just an unbeaten run, Bayern have won their last 20 competitive fixtures and a friendly as well. Every one of their ten games in the Champions League this season have been won with 42 goals scored by the Germans. That includes 11 since arriving in Portugal as they destroyed both Barcelona and Lyon.
A French side hasn't won the Champions League since Marseille in 1993. That's the only time a team from France has won the European Cup/Champions League since it began in 1955. PSG have been dreaming of winning this competition but this is the first time they have made it through to the final. They are unbeaten in their last eight competitive fixtures and have recently won the French Cup and the French League Cup. They have lost in the Champions League this season though, losing the away leg of their last sixteen tie at Borussia Dortmund. They have shown good form in this last eight tournament but so nearly lost to Atalanta in the last eight. Neymar and Mbappe will always cause troubles for any team they face but Bayern just look too strong. Herr Flick's team can win this final in the 90 minutes.

PSG have at last made it to the final but this does look an almighty task for them to win this game. Neymar and Mbappe need to be at their very best but can their defence hold out against Bayern?
