Preston North End vs Norwich Prediction & Betting Tips - FA Cup

Preston North End are former winners of the FA Cup and look to cause a shock in this third round tie against Premier League bottom side Norwich City. The home side are 10th in the Championship and come into this game in poor form. They had been top of the table at one stage but have slipped down the table in recent weeks. Preston have only earned eight points from their last ten league games, putting them 21st in a form guide for that period. Home form this season has been the best in the Championship with nine league wins, though that has faltered of late with two defeats by Middlesbrough and Reading, both by a 2-0 scoreline. Form in the FA Cup hasn't been good though with no wins since 2015. They have had some luck in the draw though with recent ties being against Manchester United and Arsenal. Last season wasn't so good though as they were knocked out by League One Doncaster Rovers. 

Norwich City are bottom of the Premier League and are likely to make plenty of changes for this game. That's what clubs do these days and Preston are likely to do the same. Coming straight after a packed festive period, the Canaries will be keen to rest their players ahead of the next set of Premier League fixtures. City have gone eight games without a win, though three of the last five have ended in draws. Norwich have a terrible reputation at present of taking the lead but not winning the game. They've only failed to do that once in one of their last six matches. All of which points to them being a good side to bet on when it comes to both teams scoring and that's the tip for this cup tie.
