Portugal's senior side won Euro 2016, now their under-21 side bids to win a European title of their own. They are fourth favourites to win this title and lost to the Czech Republic in a penalty shoot-out in the final of the 2015 UEFA under-21 European Championships. They have played 18 games since that defeat and their only loss was to Sweden in a penalty shoot-out so they have a great chance of winning this tournament. Serbia lost in the 2007 final and also in 2005 when competing as Serbia and Montenegro. They have only won two of their last five games and this is going to be a tough opener for them with games against Spain and Macedonia to come.
