Porto host Lazio in the first leg of the two-legged tie in the knockout round playoffs of the Europa League at the Estadio de Dragao. The hosts finished third in Group B of the Champions League and have hence, made their way to the knockout round play-offs. The visitors finished second in Group E of the current Europa League and now have to battle Porto in a bid to play in the Round of 16. Porto are sitting at the top of the Portuguese Primeira Liga standings and have won six out of their last seven home matches, which is evidence of their dominance in the current season. They came into the game with a 2-2 draw against Sporting in the Primeira Liga. It also must be noted that Porto have won eleven out of their last twelve fixtures.
