Benfica top the Portuguese Primeira League by seven points. They have a key game this weekend when traveling to second placed Porto, who need a win to stay in the title hunt. The league leaders have won 18 of their 19 league games this season, the other game being a home loss to Porto back in August. Since then, Benfica have won 16 successive league games with clean sheets in 11 of them. Each of their nine away league games have been won and their defence has only conceded on three occasions. Three consecutive away clean sheets have been kept and they know a win at Porto will take them a massive step towards winning the title.

Porto are 14 points clear of third placed Braga, so qualification for the Champions League looks almost certain. They have won 15 of their 19 league games this season but suffered losses to Braga and Gil Vicente. Porto have won eight of their nine home league games and conceded just three goals. Two of those came in the 2-1 home loss to Braga last month. Porto also conceded in their most recent home victory and with Benfica being the top scorers in the league this season, the tip here is for both teams to score.
