A West Coast battle is set to tip off on Tuesday’s NBA slate with the Phoenix Suns hosting the Los Angeles Lakers. The Suns are sitting seventh in the West standings at 15-13 while the Lakers are fourth with a 19-8 record. Check out our match prediction!

The Suns were red hot last month, winning 10 of 12 games during the first three weeks of November. Since then, however, they’ve cooled off drastically.

Phoenix was beaten 119-116 on the road against the Warriors on Saturday for a third defeat in their last four outings. A sloppy inbounds play with 4 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter saw the Suns fail to get up a decent attempt to tie the game. They’ll now return home to the Footprint Center, where they’ve won nine out of 14 games so far this season.

The Lakers were blown out by the Clippers in their last game in a demoralizing 108-88 loss, despite a 36-point performance from LeBron James.

Luka Doncic was forced to leave the game early and is listed as day-to-day on the injury report. They also have Austin Reaves, who has missed the last three games, listed as questionable.

Since the start of December, Los Angeles has posted a 4-4 record which includes a 4-2 run in their road games.
