Philadelphia Union vs DC United Prediction & Betting Tips - Major League Soccer

This early Sunday morning fixture sees two sides with MLS play-off aspirations do battle at the Subaru Park in Pennsylvania.  Philadelphia Union are third in the Eastern Conference while their opponents DC United are ninth just outside the play-off spots with seven teams qualifying.  

Philadelphia battled out a 1-1 draw with New York Red Bulls last weekend despite playing the last 30 minutes of the fixture with ten men following the dismissal of Matt Freese.  It continues a strong start to the season with five victories, five draws and just three defeats from their first 13.  At their own ground, they have won each of their last three and are unbeaten in four keeping a clean sheet in each of their last three.

DC United will be full of confidence following their last fixture which fell on July 3rd and saw them get among the goals as they hammered Toronto 7-1 with all seven goals coming from different players.  The Washington outfit don't tend to draw many with just one of their games this season finishing all-square, six ending in defeat and five seeing them come out on top.  On the road, they have struggled with four defeats from six and just four points in total.
