Paul Jubb vs Sebastian Ofner Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Mallorca Open

We'll have an unseeded player in the final of the Mallorca Open. Qualifier Paul Jubb faces unseeded Sebastian Ofner in Friday's semi-final. For the winner, there's a final on Saturday against either fourth seed Alejandro Tabilo or sixth-seeded Gael Monfils.

Paul Jubb is another of the British players who are getting some impressive results on grass. The last ranking list had him in 289th place but he's up to 235th after this run to the Mallorca Open semi-final. That's still below his career-high of 196th achieved two years ago.

Jubb hadn't won a match this year in the main draw of an ATP Tour event before this week. In Mallorca he's won five matches and hadn't dropped a set  in the first four. He then had to go to three to get past top seed Ben Shelton in the last eight winning a final set tie-break.

Sebastian Ofner is up to 49th in the live rankings. He didn't start this grass court season well with first round defeats coming in both Stuttgart and last week's Halle Open. Another first round loss looked on the way when losing the first set to Jaume Munar.

He got the win though and then had a straight sets win over fifth-seeded Luciano Darderi. It was tougher in the quarter-finals as he had to again come from a set down, this time against Alex Michelsen. We go for Ofner to reach the final.
