After momentary joy on Christian Chivu’s managerial debut, Parma are back in the red even as they prepare to host Torino. These two sides are six points apart, Parma starting the match in 17th and Torino 11th. Below is our prediction.

Parma’s impressive performance in the 2-0 win against Bologna was followed with a defeat. Gialloblu fell 1-0 to in-form Udinese last week, for their fifth defeat in six matches.

They are left with three wins only in the last 15 matches and must improve here lest they drop back in the bottom three. Parma are sitting just a point above the relegation zone, facing a side they haven't beaten in the last four matches.

Torino’s quest for a top half finish received a massive boost with back-to-back wins in their last two outings. The most recent of them was a 2-0 away win at Monza, their first clean sheet in five and only third of their last 11.

Having kept clean sheets in each of their last three matches against Parma, the visitors will be confident of winning here. Having earlier struggled defensively they will be looking to build on that aspect as well.

Il Toro have scored twice in each of the last three matches, which should give them a psychological edge coming here.
