Out of form Barcelona, head to Panathinaikos on matchday two of the 2025/26 EuroLeague season, seeking their first win. They enter this match in 19th place in the standings, while their hosts are up in fifth. Read on to find our prediction for this match. 

Panathinaikos started the season on a rich note, defeating visiting Bayern Munich 87-79. This was their first competitive game of the new season after playing only one preseason tie. 

This highlights the quality within Ergin Ataman’s team. Kendrick Nunn, last season’s top scorer, was at it again for the Greens and scored 21 points against Bayern. Jerian Grant, Omer Faruk and Nikos Rogkavopoulos added 10, 14 and 15 points, respectively. 

Barcelona were outclassed on matchday one, away to EuroLeague debutants Hapoel. Joan Penarroya’s men, who arrived for the game after a shaky end to their preseason preparations, were hammered 103-87. 

They have now lost three in a row and will want an immediate response to avoid going into a 2-0 hole. William Clyburn, signed from Bologna, had a top performance in his debut and put up 23 points in the loss to Hapoel. 

Kevin Punter and Jan Vesely added 10 points each for the Spanish giants, who had 13 total turnovers.
