Olympiakos are bottom of this Champions League group and are already unable to reach the knock-out stages. The same applies to the visitors Red Star Belgrade but there's still a Europa League place up for grabs. The Greeks only have one point from this group, that came in their opening home match against Tottenham. They trail third place Red Star Belgrade by two points, so will need to get the win here to keep their European season going. Olympiakos went 2-0 up at Tottenham in their last group match but ended up losing 4-2. They have had their chances in this group as Olympiakos also took the lead away to Red Star Belgrade and at home to Bayern Munich but lost both those games too. Olympiakos are top of the Greek Super League and the loss to Tottenham is the only loss they have suffered in the last five matches. Only one of their last five home games in the Champions League has been lost.

Red Star Belgrade may be third but they have the worst defensive record in this group. They have conceded 19 goals in five games including 11 at home but only actually scored in one of them. That was in the 3-1 home win over Olympiakos. They simply have to avoid defeat in this game to be transferred to the Europa League in the new year. Red Star have won five of their last six matches and lead the Serbian league by ten points. Away form in the Champions League has seen them go ten games without a win but they have managed to get on the scoresheet in three of the last five. Both these sides have defences that need a fair bit of work done on them. Go for both teams to score.
