Olympiacos host Apollon Limassol for the replay of their Europa League play-offs tie. With the first game in Cyprus ending 1-1, it is still all to play for at the Karaiskakis stadium. The Greek side kicked off the Greek Super League in positive fashion, beating Pas Giannina 2-0. It was Olympiacos’ first victory after five winless competitive games, which included an elimination from Maccabi Haifa and back to back draws with Slovan Bratislava. What was also positive was that the hosts kept a clean sheet, which was something that eluded them in recent games. Specifically, including the summer friendly games, Olympiacos conceded in eleven of their last thirteen games, so a home clean sheet will surely be a welcome sign for Carlos Corberan’s team.
