Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic have met on 51 previous occasions and it's the Serbian who leads 26-25, He used to be way behind until a run of 11 wins out of 12 over the Spaniard. Their last two matches have both been won by Nadal but they were on his beloved clay where he rules supreme. Both players have had lots of wins in their careers but also know what it's like to spend months on the sidelines with an injury. That's been the case for Djokovic who went from almost unbeatable to spending months out injured. He's slowly making his way back up the rankings and has showed some glimpses of getting back to his best during this tournament. He's had two good wins over Kyle Edmund and Kei Nishikori iin his last two rounds but this is his toughest task by far.

Nadal has won Wimbledon on two previous occasions but he hasn't played well here for a while. Not since 2011 has he got past the fourth round until this run to the semi-final. The first four rounds didn't produce any difficult matches for him but he nearly came unstuck in the quarter-final. He was two sets to one down to Juan Martin del Potro until winning the final two sets 6-4 6-4. Now comes the biggest challenge and with Isner or Anderson awaiting in the final, most people believe whoever wins this match will go on to win the title on Sunday. Djokovic looks to be in better form and he can get the win in what should be a titanic affair.
