Novak Djokovic has won the last two Grand Slam tournaments and his chances of making it three in a row were already good even before the exit of Roger Federer. So far at the Australian Open, Djokovic has only dropped one set and that was in the third round against Denis Shapovalov. Djokovic has won this title on six occasions, his last coming in 2016.  Last year he lost in the fourth round to Chung Hyeon but had to have elbow surgery soon after. A year later he's back as world number one and is strongly fancied to win his seventh title.

Daniil Medvedev is seeded 15th for the Australian Open and is yet to drop a set so far. Already this year he reached the final of a tournament in Brisbane losing to Kei Nishikori. This run to the fourth round is his best performance in a Grand Slam tournament and he's never managed to get past the second round here. He's had two previous matches against Novak Djokovic and lost both of them. He beat 21st seed David Goffin in the third round but this looks one match too far. Go for under 33.5 games to be played in this match.
