Nice vs PSG Prediction & Betting Tips - Ligue 1

Paris Saint-Germain are in Ligue 1 action this weekend when they travel to the Allianz Riviera to take on Nice. The reigning league champions are beginning to recover from a disastrous start to the season, a 1-0 defeat to Metz softening the blow of their campaign beginning with two successive defeats. It leaves them 15th in the table after three games. Nice are seventh in the table, three points higher than PSG, but come into this game on the back of their first league defeat of the season. They lost 3-1 to Montpellier last weekend. Nice have an exciting frontline with former Ajax starlet Kasper Dolberg leading the attack and Amine Gouiri in offence. The latter forward joined from Lyon in Nice's only incoming transfer activity. PSG have not strengthened a squad that made it to the Champions League final last month, but they have made Mauro Icardi's and Sergio Rico's moves permanent. 

Nice have not enjoyed much luck against PSG in recent seasons, failing to win their last five matches with the capital club. Nine of the last ten clashes between the teams have featured at least three goals. Angel Di Maria has scored three goals in the last four ties between the clubs. Nice come into this match with their home record in good nick, losing only one of the last 11 league contests on their own turf. PSG, suffering from a UCL defeat hangover, have lost three of their last four matches. Curiously, all four of those matches ended 1-0. The game that PSG won featured a winning goal in the 93rd minute. That may be enough to get them out of this rut but we're not entirely convinced. PSG have had four players sent off in their last two games and will consequently be without players like Neymar for this fixture. We suggest placing a double chance bet on the home side.
