These two clubs had contrasting 2024-25 seasons. Newport County only just avoided relegation and they begin this new season with a home game against Notts County who lost in the play-offs. Can the Magpies start with an away win? Here's our match prediction.
Newport ended last term one place and seven points ahead of relegation to the National League. That poor performance led to a managerial change in the summer. Former Manchester United academy manager David Hughes is now in charge.
