This should perhaps prod the Magpies to their first win in the league this season. They go to this game deep in the drop zone, with three points and in 19th place, while Tottenham are eight with 12 points. Steve Bruce’s future has been under scrutiny but it seems the manager will be able to survive at least until this game. They have two straight away losses in the Premier League and one clean sheet only in their last seven away matches in the Premier League.
