Newcastle United go into their final home game, hosting Sheffield United in the penultimate round of matches in the league. The home team has 39 points, in 16th place while Sheffield are bottom on 20 and there’s really nothing to fight for in this game for both sides. Newcastle can only rise by a place, and that’s all, and with just three wins in their last 13 matches, they can’t wait to sign off the season.
