Newcastle United and Crystal Palace brought to an end their winless runs in the Premier League ahead of their Week 22 match at St James Park. Hosts Newcastle are 16th in the standings with 22 points while Crystal Palace are 13th 26 points. After an 11-match winless run Newcastle beat Everton 2-0 away from home with Callum Wilson’s two late goals. This was the second time in six matches that Newcastle got on the score sheet and it was their second clean sheet in 13 matches.
