It's not often a happy football club and that's the case again at Newcastle United. Their fans despise the owner and aren't at all impressed at the fact that Steve Bruce is in charge of the team. Again, they have made a slow start to the season with four points from their first five games. Only one game has been won and that was a surprise win at Tottenham, that at least shows what they are capable of. It's not been the easiest of fixture lists for them with losses to both Arsenal and Liverpool. Losing at Norwich doesn't look that atrocious after what happened last weekend. A home draw with bottom of the table Watford wasn't good though. Now they host Brighton and Hove Albion who are 16th in the table but only a point clear of them. A win on Saturday will take them out of the bottom three. Newcastle have only won one of their last five home league games, a dip in form as they'd won the previous five.

Brighton and Hove Albion made a promising start to the season with a 3-0 win at Watford in their first fixture. Since then, they have had an away loss at Manchester City and only earned two points from three home league games against West Ham, Southampton (who beat them 2-0) and Burnley. Only three of their last 16 away league games have been won. One against the side currently bottom of the table, another against Huddersfield who were relegated last season and a win at Crystal Palace who struggle at home. Brighton also won 1-0 at Newcastle last season and the tip here is for under 2.5 goals to be scored in this match.
