Two games in this group have produced a total of four points for Portugal. It should be six though after twice giving away the lead in their opening 2-2 draw with Mexico. That was followed by a 1-0 win over host nations Russia. Those results leave them second in the group behind Mexico on goal scored (four for Mexico, three for Portugal) so even a win here might not take them to the top of the group. It means they will be out for goals and that's not great news for the New Zealanders.  They are already out of the tournament after losing 2-0 to Russia and then 2-1 to Mexico despite taking the lead. That's four defeats in a row for New Zealand and a fifth one most definitely looks to be on the way. Go for Portugal to get the win on a -1 handicap as they look to get goals and top the group.
