Cincinnati are not the best defensive side in the league, perhaps the more reason Fire were up by two goals after just 10 minutes; against New York City, they will be well tested, especially seeing that Fire are only better than Cincinnati among teams that have conceded the most in the league. The clean sheet in their last match was Fire’s first in nine MLS matches and they have not managed any in the last four away league matches as they head to the Red Bull Arena. Fire do not have much to show for their exploits on the road; in their last 32 away matches in the MLS, they have won just two and added to their form against New York City, it doesn’t look so promising for them.
