New England Revolution have found their footing, with two straight wins ahead of their home game against Montreal Impact. They consolidated their place at the top of the Eastern Conference with a 5-0 win over Inter Miami and at 30 points, they have a five point lead over their closest opponents. Montreal on the other hand, dropped one place down after a 1-0 loss to New York City and are now fifth with 22 points. Concerns were growing at New England’s run of form after three winless matches but they responded with straight wins in their last two matches. They’ve now won seven of their last 10 matches and even at their worst, they haven’t failed to score. In their last five matches, just like New England, Montreal have conceded seven goals. In the last 10 matches Montreal have scored more than one goal in three. Their away run isn’t as good as when they play at home though, and this is among the reasons they will be underdogs in this game. They have one away win in their last four matches, and only two clan sheets in seven.
