The Netherlands have failed to qualify for the last two major tournaments. There has been some improvement though and this summer will see them in the UEFA Nations League semi-finals where they take on England. Winning that tournament will take them into the 2020 European Championships but failing that they can qualify via this group. It's not the easiest of ones as they again have to face Germany plus Northern Ireland, Belarus and Estonia with the top two teams qualifying. The Netherlands are unbeaten in their last four games including home wins over Germany and France. Seven of their last eight home matches havve been won, with the only loss being to England.

Belarus lost 4-1 away to the Netherlands in 2016 and will again be expecting a tough game. They are unbeaten in their last six games but that was in the UEFA Nations League up against sides such as San Marino, Luxembourg and Moldova. Belarus won their group without conceding a goal and won promotion to League C. This is far tougher of course and Belarus have never qualified for a European Championships finals finishing fourth in their last three qualifying groups. The Netherlands can get the group off to a winning start and can lead at both half and full time.
