Nantes vs Lille Osc Prediction & Betting Tips - Ligue 1

Lille start the weekend in second place but their chances of winning Ligue 1 are pretty much zero. They trail runaway leaders PSG by 20 points with just nine games to go, but ten for PSG. The target for Lille is to become the best of the rest and by finishing second, go straight into the group stages of next season's Champions League. They had been unbeaten in their last nine league games before losing at home to revitalized Monaco in their last league game. Away form wasn't good at the start of the season but has picked up of late with six wins from the last seven. The number of goals in ther games has fallen of late with under 2.5 goals scored in eight of their last nine league games (the other being a 2-1 loss to PSG).

Nantes are down in 15th place in the table but nine points above the relegation zone and with a game in hand. Their most recent league game saw them lose away to Reims who are sixth and pushing for  a Euopa League place. It's possible their minds not totally be on this game as midweek sees their French Cup semi-final. Trouble is they drew PSG away so reaching the final is going to be a difficult task. It'll be interesting to see if they rest any players ahead of that game. League form has seen Nantes win only one of their last four games. Only one of their last four home league games have won and like the visitors, there aren't many goals being scored in their games. Four of their last five home league games have had under 2.5 goals scored in them and 11 of the last 12 overall. Go for under 2.5 goals to be scored in this game.
