Following winless starts to the COSAFA 2025 campaign, Namibia and Malawi will be looking to bounce back on matchday two. Competing in Group B, Malawi start the game placed at the bottom and Namibia second. We have a prediction for this match below.

Malawi didn’t have the best of starts to the competition. After a tight encounter, they suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of group leaders Lesotho. A VAR check was needed to clear offside calls from Malawi, and in the end Makara Ntaitsane’s goal separated the sides.

The Flames have now lost their last two matches and only have one win to show in their last five outings. Their last 10 games had only four wins in Malawi’s name.

Namibia had a satisfying outcome in their opening, holding the defending champions Angola to a 1-1 draw. It was an honorable performance from the Brave Warriors, who had lost 5-0 to Angola in last year’s deciding game.

On the strength of their positive start, Namibia will be targeting another stride to the ultimate game of the competition. First, though, they have to deal with Malawi.

In their last six games, Namibia are unbeaten. They’ve, however, managed just one win in that run, as the Angola draw was their fifth. It is still an improvement, having lost all the earlier four.
