Vihiga Bullets are set for another tough encounter in the FKF Kenyan Premier League; they travel to the capital to take on Nairobi City Stars. The visitors have managed just a point from a possible 15 and are deservedly stuck at the bottom of the league standings. City Stars on the other hand, are seventh, with 10 points, and will be eyeing a win that will keep them within touching distance of the top sides. After their opening loss to Sofapaka, City Stars haven’t suffered another defeat; they go to this game unbeaten in four. Their most recent game ended 1-1 with Posts Rangers, bringing to an end a run for three straight wins. They’ve scored in each of their five matches this season and have scored two or more goals in three of the last four. In their two home matches this season, City Stars have won.

Vihiga Bullets are getting the real feel of the top flight after their promotion at the end of last season. It hasn’t been rosy so far.
