Motherwell plays host to Rangers at Fir Park on matchday one of the Scottish Premiership. Rangers finished as runners-up in the previous season and are aiming for greener pastures in the current campaign. Here's our match prediction.
Motherwell finished in eighth place in the regular season and in second place in the relegation round in the 2024-25 Scottish Premiership season.
Jens Berthel Askou is Motherwell's new gaffer this season. He replaces former manager Michael Wimmer. So far, he has overseen four competitive matches and has yet to taste defeat, recording three wins and one draw.
