It's a worrying time for Borussia Monchengladbach and they have slipped to ninth in the Bundesliga. They host sixth placed Bayer Leverkusen who are also struggling for form. Monchengladbach lost to Borussia Dortmund in the German Cup on Tuesday. That extended their losing run to six league and cup games and with a likely Champions League exit on the way. League form has seen Borussia Monchengladbach earn just two points from their last five matches. They are now four points behind sixth place (currently held by Leverkusen) which guarantees a place in next season's Europa Conference League. Another season in the Champions League is looking unlikely as they are nine points behind fourth placed Eintracht Frankfurt. The last two home league games have both been lost. They do get on the scoresheet though and haven't failed to score in a home league fixture since August 2019. That's 28 in a row they've managed to score in, trouble is they have only one clean sheet in the last nine. Eight of those nine have seen both teams score.

Bayer Leverkusen are two points behind the Europa League place and four adrift of the final Champions League spot. They are in poor form too with no wins in five and one in nine in all competitions. Their most recent game saw them lose 2-1 at home to Freiburg. That followed an exit from the Europa League losing to Young Boys. Leverkusen have only won one of their last six league matches. Only one point has been earned from the last four away league matches but they have had to play three of the top seven. Eight of their last ten away league matches have seen them get on the scoresheet. but only two clean sheets have been kept. A bet on both teams to score is the one to go for here.
