Monaco’s last home game saw five players shown red cards as they lost 3-2 to Olympique Lyon; four of them were after the 90th minute. They will be hoping for a friendlier encounter as they host Rennes in their final home league game of the season. Monaco go to the clash placed third in the standings with 74 points, two behind second placed PSG while Rennes are seventh, with 55 points. Monaco have two things to play for in these final stages of the season – a top two place, and the Coupe de France. In their last match, they thrashed Rumilly Vallieres 5-1 to secure their place in the cup final and now they hope to keep up the pressure on PSG for second spot.
