Both Monaco and Club Brugge have appalling Champions League records and are very unlikely to get out of Group A.  They have both lost to Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund and their only point comes from the 1-1 draw they had in Belgium. Monaco have home advantage in this game and a win is likely to be enough to get them into the Europa League unless there are some shock results later in the group. Monaco are having a poor season and are one from bottom in the French league going into the first weekend of November. Before their trip to Reims at the weekend they'd gone 13 league and cup games without a win and have played 12 Champions League games without a win and lost the last five at home.

Brugge will be kicking themselves for not getting a home win against Monaco. They had to come from behind just to get a 1-1 draw. They are second in the Belgian league but find life a lot more difficult in the Champions League with no wins in their last 13 and just one in the last 19. On their travels, Brugge have lost their last seven but desperately need to get something out of this game. The tip here is for over 2.5 goals to be scored in the game.
