Millwall host Burnley in the Championship this weekend with a chance to record a first home win over the visiting Clarets since April 2006. The visiting Clarets have had the upper hand in this fixture of late, with four wins in the last six against the Lions, plus two away draws. What will our prediction for this crucial Championship match be?

After a slow start to the season, Millwall have picked up their form. They come into this game lying tenth in the Championship table and unbeaten in four, drawing 0-0 (a) v WBA and 1-1 (h) v Derby followed by two 1-0 wins, at home to Plymouth and last weekend away to Swansea City. 

Goals have been scarce however with just three goals scored in their last five matches.

Burnley are proving to be very tough to beat in the Championship this season. The Clarets sole defeat came away to Sunderland and since then they have won four and drawn five of the next nine games. 

Most impressively, they have conceded just five goals in their dozen games this season in the league, the best record in the division. 

They have won three and drawn two of their six away games in the league this season.

We have to admit that this was a tricky game to call. Both teams are in relatively good form of late, both don't concede many goals and Millwall also don't score too many.
