Burnley have secured promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking. However, there’s still something to play for as they go into their matchday 46 home encounter against Millwall. Read on for our prediction of the match.

With 97 points, Burnley are sure to finish second. If they better Leeds United’s result on the final day of the regular season, they will be declared champions in the Championship.

The hosts are looking to hit 100 points, one sort of the last time they played in the Championship. A 5-0 win against Queens Park Rangers in their last outing was their 32nd unbeaten game in the league. They’ll be looking to complete the season on a winning note.

Millwall are faced with a must-win situation here. In the reverse match, they overcame Burnley 1-0 and are looking to be the only side to beat Burnley twice this season.

Millwall’s mission, however, goes beyond just beating Burnley. Tied on 66 points with Coventry City, they are locked outside the playoff places by goal difference.
