Middlesbrough are home to Sheffield Wednesday who are going great guns on the road at present. Boro are sixth in the Championship with The Owls ninth but only three points behind them. Time for our match prediction.

The home side did well on Saturday to return home with a point. Three times they trailed at Plymouth but ended up drawing 3-3. Home form is strong with six league games won so far, including the last two. Three of their last five home league have seen over 2.5 goals scored.  The ease with which Plymouth were able to score against Boro is bound to give Sheffield Wednesday hope of getting something here.

Two second half goals gave Sheffield Wednesday a home win over Stoke on Saturday. That was their second successive win and made it four wins from their last six league games. The last three have all been won and five of the last six.
