Mexico and Brazil had wins in normal time in the quarter finals at Tokyo 2020 and will be relatively fresher when they get to face off in the semi finals. Mexico trounced Korea Republic 6-3 in their game while Brazil secured a 1-0 win over a very defensive-minded Egypt side. The most outstanding stats about Mexico coming into this game, they’ve been very good in attack, but poor defensively. So far in four matches, Mexico have scored 14 goals; they’ve actually scored in each of their matches and in only one have they failed to score more than a goal. However, they have managed just one clean sheet in the four matches, and twice in that run, they conceded two or more goals.
