TNT Tropang 5G and Meralco Bolts lock horns again in Game 5 of the PBA Philippine Cup semi-final series on Wednesday. TNT Tropang 5G lead the series 3–1 and a win on Wednesday will see them book their place in the final. Can they complete the job against the seemingly demoralized Meralco Bolts? Read on for our prediction for the game. 

Third seed TNT Tropang 5G headed into this series as clear favourites, having finished four places above Meralco Bolts in the elimination round. Chot Reyes’ men have lived up to expectations. They came from 12 points down in the first quarter and scurried to a narrow five-point victory in Game 1. 

Game 2 also went their way, this time by a dominant 17-point margin. However, Meralco Bolts weren't ready to give in easily without a fight as they held firm to secure an eight-point victory in Game 3, reviving their hopes heading into Game 4.

TNT Tropang 5G responded strongly in Game 4, leading in all four quarters to secure their biggest win (102–83) in the series. That result saw them rack up their seventh win in eight games and marked their ninth victory over Meralco Bolts in their last 10 meetings across all competitions.
