Third seed Oleksandra Oliynykova faces unseeded Mayar Sherif in the semi-finals of the Iasi Open. This is their second meeting of the season and fourth overall. Oliynykova’s 17 wins on clay this term have her as the favorite in our prediction here.

Sherif should be eagerly awaiting this showdown with Oliynykova. Not only to strengthen her chances of a tour title, but also to snap her losing streak against the Ukrainian.
