Marseille are currently third in Ligue 1 and although they are 13 points behind PSG, they only trail second placed Monaco by a point. Home form is the main reason they are doing so well in the league with just one home defeat so far this season and that was by Rennes last September. Marseilles are currently on an unbeaten run of 13 league and cup games and just one in the last 27 making this a very tough away leg for Braga. Marseille came second in their Europa League group, four points behind Red Bull. They won two and drew one of their home games but only managed one win from three away matches so a good lead is needed here if they want to progress. Braga finished top of Group C, a point ahead of Ludogorets Razgrad who they lost to at home. The Portuguese side are fourth in their home table but have already lost six league games this season and look booked for another Europa League campaign next season. Four of those six defeats have come in away games and in league and cup games they have only won two of their last nine games. Marseille can be backed to get a first leg win.
