Marseille vs Saint Etienne Prediction & Betting Tips - Ligue 1

Marseille can move into the final Europa League qualifying position with a home win over fourth-placed St Etienne. They trail them by just two points and come into this game in the better form. The home side are recovering from a poor run of form in December and January but have ten points from their last four league matches with only two goals conceded. Home form is solid with seven league wins this season and only two defeats and they were against PSG and Lille, the top two teams in Ligue 1.

St Etienne have been fairly inconsistent so far in 2019 and it's threatening their chances of reaching the Europa League next season. They have lost four of their last seven league and cup games with only three goals in their last four matches. They have won two of their last three league games though with the most recent being a narrow 1-0 win at Dijon who are one from bottom in the table and were suffering their fourth straight league defeat. Marseille can make home advantage pay and get the win here to move into fourth place.
