Marseille vs Strasbourg Prediction & Betting Tips - Ligue 1

Marseille begin the weekend in ninth place in Ligue 1. They are only a couple of points off the final Europa League qualifying place but aren't in good form at present. Neither are their opponents, Strasbourg who are only outside the relegation places on goal difference. Marseille won three of their first five league games but since then have had three consecutive draws and in their last match, a 3-1 away defeat at Amiens. Home form has seen them lose their opening game to Reims but since then they have won one and drawn two. 

Strasbourg are four points behind their opponents and have already lost four league games this season. The only reason they aren't in the relegation zone is because of their home form. Eight of their nine points have come on home soil with wins over Nantes and Montpellier, though they had to wait until their fourth match to get their first home win. Away form has been a disaster this season with only one point from their four games, the worst record in Ligue 1. Strasbourg are still waiting to score their first away goal of the season. Only one of their last 12 away league games have been won and the tip here is for a home win, though there aren't likely to be too many goals.
