The 25-year-old, who is now up to 21st in the live ranking, has struggled in recent weeks. She has won just three times in her last eight outings. A finalist in Dubai earlier this year, Kalinskaya has compiled a 22-11 record. The majority of her wins, 18, were registered during the hard court season earlier in the year. This resulted in her best Grand Slam result, a quarter-final finish in Melbourne.
