Manchester United are in second place but still only with a faint hope of getting past league leaders Manchester City. They are unbeaten in their last five league and cup games and their defence is holding strong with three consecutive clean sheets. It's coming up to two years since a side outside of Manchester beat United at Old Trafford and they have won eight out of 11 home league games this season wth only five goals conceded. Jesse Lingard is becoming a key figure for them at present with four in the last four games and that's important while the likes of Lukaku and Rashford aren't scoring as regularly as before. Stoke would love to have a regular goalscorer and they come to Old Trafford in the relegation zone and without a manager with key targets turning them down. Stoke have lost their last three games including losing to Coventry City in the FA Cup. Away form this season isn't promising with just one win out of 11 and six points altogether with just one point from the last five away league games. This looks booked for a United home win.
