Manchester United vs Manchester City Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

It's the fourth Manchester derby of the season and United look for a third win against them. They begin the weekend in fifth place and need points as they host Manchester City who are second. Both of these clubs could win a hatful of trophies between them this season. United are still battling to win the FA Cup and Europa League, while City already have the EFL Cup and are chasing the FA Cup and Champions League. The home side's main aim this season is to earn a place in the 2020/21 Champions League. They are currently only three points behind fourth placed Chelsea and in the last sixteen of the Europa League. At the time of writing, they are unbeaten in eight league and cup games, last losing to Burnley in January. That home loss is the only one they have suffered at Old Trafford in the Premier League in their last 12 games. United's decision to buy Bruno Fernandes in the January transfer window has paid dividends and United's fans have a new hero. 

City come into this game having lost twice to United, both on home soil. They have a much better record at Old Trafford though with three straight league wins and no loss since 2015. City are second in the table but even with Liverpool's form slipping of late, they have little or no chance of climbing any higher. Winning trophies is the aim for the rest of the season, particularly the Champions League. They are in good form coming into this game with five wins in a row in all competitions. City have won nine away league games this season and this looks like being number ten.
