Manchester United carries a huge advantage in their home match against LASK as the UEFA Europa League resumes and they will be keen to complete the job at home. United registered a 5-0 away win in the Round of 16 first leg before lockdown and have been in good form ahead of this game. The Manchester giants wrapped up their domestic season strongly, snatching third place in a hotly contested top four race and will be looking to add the Europa League title to their cabinet. This tournament presents the only silverware available for Manchester United to contest and they should be eying the quarters after the big win in the first leg. The defeat to Chelsea in the FA Cup semi finals was United’s only loss in their last 22 matches. With seven wins in their last 10 matches, and having scored at least twice in eight of the 10, the hosts will be firm favorites. LASK on the other hand, had a slow finish to their domestic league, losing three straight matches at the championship playoffs and will definitely be underdogs here. They suffered a huge loss in the first leg and by their recent run, it will need a miracle to overturn it. LASK have two clean sheets in their last 11 matches but it has been worse in their recent matches, conceding six goals in the last two. LASK last played competitively at the start of July, though they had one friendly match at the end of July, which they also lost. With an away run of one win in the last five Europa League matches the visitors will need something special at Old Trafford, where the hosts have not conceded, and won each of the last four matches in the competition.
