Two teams looking to get back to winning ways domestically lock horns in the Premier League this weekend when Manchester United welcome Arsenal to Old Trafford on Sunday. The Red Devils looked superb on Wednesday when they destroyed RB Leipzig in a 5-0 home win in the Champions League. However, their domestic outings have not been as straightforward as their continental adventures. Winless in five home matches in the league, United are 15th in the table with seven points from five games. Arsenal are not faring much better. The Gunners are two points and four places ahead of United in 11th having played a game more. They bounced back from a limp 1-0 home defeat to Leicester last weekend by beating Dundalk in the Europa League on Thursday but that 3-0 win was far from convincing. The performance of his players in that midweek victory won't overly concern Mikel Arteta as it is likely that the vast majority, if not all, of the starters there, will be dropped for this encounter. Arsenal have been in rag order for a long time when it comes to Premier League travels. They have lost four of their last five away league matches. Two wins before that ended another run of seven league games without a victory. Yet while they have not lost at Old Trafford since 2015, they are unbeaten in two matches there and have also won two of their last three games against United in all competitions.

Goalless bore draw with Chelsea aside, United's forwards have been in flying form of late, scoring 11 goals in their last four outings. The feeling during the Leipzig match was that United had turned away from their early-season struggles and that their squad depth was allowing them to bring game-changing quality off the bench. This was exhibited by Marcus Rashford's hat-trick after being substituted on against the German side. We think a performance of that quality is convincing. Back a United win.
